After the success of the 2022 Morgan Marine Sonata National Championships we now have the honour of hosting the Sonata Eastern Area Championships 2025. Over the late May Bank Holiday (24 and 25 May 2025) we intend to have two full days of racing on the Colne/Blackwater involving six windward/leeward courses.
All entrants must hold Sonata Organisation Membership. (https://www.sonata.org.uk/join-begin)
Entry will be £50 per boat – including launching assistance from the CYC.(This must be booked inadvance)
A food package will be available at £40 per person (two days breakfast and packed lunch, and Saturday evening meal).
A prize-giving BBQ will be available at £12.
Top Essex band “Punch it Chewie” will be performing on Saturday night.
