We're a members' club so we need to know a bit about you. If you know a CYC member, they can introduce you. If you don't know anyone, please call the office (01206 302594) and we will arrange for a flag officer to meet you, get to know a bit about you, and tell you all you need to know. (We tend to meet in the Club bar, so a complimentary drink forms part of the meeting!)
Once we've received your application, it is discussed at our next monthly Main Committee meeting where your application will be considered and confirmed. Our administrator will then invoice you and send your membership card. In the meantime we will encourage you to come along and get involved.
Along with your membership card, you'll receive the new members' pack which tells you where to find the Club's facilities (e.g. the winter storage boatyard); what the sailing programme is for the year; and which social events have been planned. There will also be all the contact details so that you can phone or email our friendly staff.
All members receive regular update on what's happening, and event specific emails to make sure you don't miss any important dates.
All members get emailed copies of Poop Deck, our inhouse news bulletin, which gives updates on activities in the clubhouse, events both on and off the water and details of how to sign up.
