Club Facilities

Bar & Restaurant
The bar and restaurant are managed by our Catering Manager Jacqui Omer. The inner bar is reserved for members when the main area is hired for a private function. The bar gives onto our large, sunny balcony which overlooks the harbour. A wide range of Real Ales, lagers, spirits and fine wines are served, as is bar food at certain times.

Bar Food
A range of bar food is available at certain times. For details of the food available please see the menu at the bar or call the club on 01206 302594.
Wifi Hotspot
The Club provides free WiFi supplied through The Cloud. To access this, please ask the Bar Staff for assistance.

Venue Hire 2025

The Colne Yacht Club is a great venue for many different occasions.  It has

  • panoramic views over Brightlingsea Creek
  • a light, airy restaurant and bar available for hire
  • a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff

We host weddings, conferences, birthdays and celebrations of all kinds. We also offer a peaceful retreat for wakes. Capacity ranges from 4 to 100, depending on how the spaces are set up
Venue hire rates are £60 per hour (club members receive a 50% discount for private functions).  This includes exclusive use of the restaurant and a member of staff available during your function.  There is some limited free availabilty for registered charities.

All types of refreshment are available from tea, coffee and biscuits, to buffets and four-course meals.

Our Club Adminstrator and Hospitality Manager will work closely with you to ensure your event runs to your budget and design.  For more details, call 01206 302594 with your venue hire enquiry.
