| Start Racing | Level 3 Keelboat Sailing certificate or equivalent | 16 hours practical + shore theory, 3 students/instructor/Sonata/safety boat, 3 months temporary CYC membership | Fundamentals of club racing: basic start sequences/timing, improved tacking/gybing, 5 essentials, basic racing rules.
